Teens and young adults find a harsh Job market

Many teens and young adults are having a more and more difficult time finding jobs. Any job for that matter. Check out this recent article in the L.A. Times hightlighting this issue.

UFCW Local 5 Young Worker Program

It is the goal of the UFCW Local 5 Young Worker Program to incorporate, involve and empower members. We want our young members to know their rights in the workplace and understand their abilities and potentials in affecting change. Through collective action and community involvement, we can bring focus to young workers' issues and concerns. Local 5 believes it is imperative that our young members are prepared to lead this Union in the future.
